-Romex Baby Cough Syrup is a medicine that contains citric acid and is used for the relief of dry, irritating coughs

2. BEFORE YOU USE ROMEX BABY COUGH SYRUP

Do not use Romex Baby Cough Syrup

-If you are allergic to citric acid monohydrate or any of the other ingredients of Romex Baby Cough Syrup

-After the expiry date which is stated on the label

-If you notice discoloration of the syrup

Take special care with Romex Baby Cough Syrup

-If your child is diabetic

Using other medicines

-Please tell your health care provider if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription

3. HOW TO USE ROMEX BABY COUGH SYRUP 

-Always use Romex Baby Cough syrup exactly as your health care provider has told you.

-You should check with your health care provider if you are not sure.

The usual dose is;

-Children under 2 years: 2.5 ml; 6 to 8 hourly

-2-6 years: 5ml; 6 to 8 hourly

If you use more Romex Baby Cough Syrup than you should,

-You should contact a doctor or your nearest Accident and Emergency Department (Casualty) taking your leaflet and pack with you.

If you forget to use Romex Baby Cough Syrup 

-You should take it as soon as possible and continue and continue as stated in the dosage.

-Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

-Like all medicines, Romex Baby Cough Syrup can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.

-There are no known side effects from using this medicine when used as directed.

-If taken excessively above the stated dose, glycerin present in the medicine may cause headache, stomach upset, and diarrhoea

-If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed here, please contact your health care provider.

5. HOW TO STORE ROMEX BABY COUGH SYRUP

- Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

-Do not store above 30 degrees Celsius.

-Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste.

-Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines that are no longer required. These measures will help you to protect the environment.

The active pharmaceutical ingredient is citric acid.
